Ambition At The Beach
Last Wednesday, our play group headed to the beach. When we left, the weather was lovely. We had taken our jackets off. We were ready for some fun in the sun.
As we got closer to the lake, oh boy did things change! The weather seemed to be 10 degrees cooler than it had been when we left and the breeze surely did not come with ease. The conditions certainly weren’t ideal for beaching it, but did that stop the children? Of course not! They were so excited to play in the sand; sand made by nature. They ran, they dove; played follow the leader. They scooped and dumped; made mounds of memories.
It’s amazing how ambitious children are. No matter the conditions or constraints, children stay dedicated to their interests. What we may view as lemons makes for pure lemonade in their little eyes.

Wonderful! Hot, cold, rain or snow will not deter little ones from having a good time. I love the picture.

How funny all the beach kids in wind jackets! I know they did not let the weather break up their fun though
