I always have my big bag with the following items: Ibuprophen, Lotion, a water bottle, a little journal, my ipod with our schedule and other important outing info, bandaids and neosporin, and of course my favorite hat.

My family is very good at keeping it together, even without me!

When we go out, a fully stocked diaper bag and tons of passies are mandatory!

I always take healthy snacks. They usually get grumpy if they get hungry. This way I always have a snack to give them to hold them over.

WATER BOTTLES AND COOKIES are a must.

So many! It depends on where we are going, but I always have a first aid kit, snacks, wet wipes, and tissues….other items as needed.

sounds crazy but Apple juice and the berry tie die fruit by the foot snacks. My daughter is obsessed with both. It makes everything easier when we have them out and about!

I have to carry wipes for sticky hands and messy faces and I have to carry snacks.

I keep a pacifier cord, a few interctive toys and wipes with us wherever we go. We've used the wipes for all types of minor "disasters" – they're not just for diaper changes!

We always take our camera, cell phone and water!

I always make sure I have the appropriate stroller, diapers, snacks, drinks, blankies, and of course, a HUGE Starbucks Iced Vanilla Latte! Mmmmm

Lots and lots of snacks and water!

I know it's pretty much a given on anyone and that would have to be a bottle for my little boy. If he isn't happy then no one is happy and that will keep him happy. That or his little bunny. The bunny calms him every time.

Oh dear – our must have list just grows! Diapers, book with animal pictures, snacks, drinks, rash guard, swim diaper, swim shoes (these are for chance encounters with water fountains, sprinklers, etc.), metrocard (we're city folk), cell phone (with ikidNY app to direct me to changing tables and kid friendly venues!) ponytail holder for Mom and book in case of spontaneous stroller naps.

Also I have posted to the playdate therapy column- I relate completely! I don't know where I'd be without my "friday moms"!

Some must haves that we always carry when out and about as a family is diapers for our little ones, bottles and pacifiers, food and toys to keep the kids occupied.

I'm new to the momma thing, so I'm that new mom you see with the huge diaper bag probably carrying around more than I need. But for me, what makes me comfortable and puts me at ease, is having a change of clothes for baby, extra diapers and wipes, and my spit up rag. Oh and of course my wallet and a pacifier!!

The task of brushing a toddler's teeth. I've found can only be done @ her pace. Stickers provide great incentives and egg timers (sand timers) are handy to time the brushing.

Wipes, and lots of them, for cleaning hands, faces, carts, seats…and bottoms, too. I don't always need diapers when I am out, but I always need wipes.

I bring plenty of cloth diapers with me!

Wipes, hand sanitizer, and snacks are primary. If it;s a car or plane trips then I add a goody bag with childs' favorites.

a must have item for any outing is diapers and wipes!
