Graco High Quality Strollers

Graco Strollers One of the most admired makers of products for babies and toddlers in the world today is Graco. Graco was founded by Russell Gray and Robert Cone in Philadelphia in 1942, but not as a juvenile supply company. Back then, the company made parts for cars and machines. But then, in 1953, Gray departed and Cone joined forces with one of his trusted employees, an engineer and inventor named David Saint. Saint had nine children, and for one of his babies he'd built a special swing in the backyard. Cone and Saint put their heads together and went to work. The result was the Graco Swyngomatic, a swing for babies that you could actually wind up so it would swing on its own. The Swyngomatic surprised the entire industry, not to mention Cone and Saint themselves, by selling millions of models all over the globe. From there, the creative forces at Graco were unleashed to create innovative and exciting process that would make parenthood not only easier, but also more fun.

The Pack N' Play play yard Graco released in 1987, to take one example, sold in the millions, and revolutionized backyard fun for parents and kids everywhere. (An interesting fact: the Pack N' Play was designed by Nate Saint, one of David Saint's nine children.) Or how about the Graco Travel System? Many parents now take for granted that they're able to remove an infant car seat from a car, snap it securely into a stroller, and then push the stroller wherever they want to go, all without waking their sleeping baby.
