 Former IDEO designers and fellow Stanford students, Bryan and Joseph observed the challenges of child transportation in their own families and those of their friends. Those challenges revealed a unique opportunity to apply their expertise in design, engineering and manufacturing. The result-Orbit Baby and the revolutionary Orbit Infant System.
Hundreds of hours were spent observing and interviewing parents to understand the personal frustrations with current baby gear. This parent-oriented design approach led to the first simple prototypes of the concept that would grow into the Orbit Infant System.
